In this guide we'll help you take a few steps to get Arrow installed on your Shopfiy store. With these steps you'll activate private apps and add Arrow as a staff member to Shopify. The Arrow team helps Shopify store owners avoid complicated technical setup by providing full-service installation.
To complete these steps you need a Shopify store. If you don’t have a Shopify store yet, see Intro to Shopify first to get started: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/intro-to-shopify
And to increase sales with Arrow on Shopify, get started with Arrow here.
After completing these steps notify us so that the Arrow team can complete your installation.
Step 1: Activate Shopify Apps
To activate Arrow on a Shopify store follow all these steps. Before you start, make sure you have a seller account with Arrow to get your Arrow API keys.
1 ~ Manage Shopify Apps
To add Arrow as a ‘private app’, private apps may need to be enabled first. Either way, after getting access as a Shopify team member, go to ‘apps’ on the store’s dashboard.
This will take you to Shopify’s app store and management menu to enable private apps and add new private apps.
2 ~ Enable Private Apps
Below the apps section is a link to add a private app: “Working with a developer on your shop? Manage private apps”.
Select the “Manage Private Apps” link to get to the page where you can add Arrow.
On this page you’ll find a message to enable private apps for this Shopify store. Arrow is a private app so select “Enable Private App Development”.
Shopify asks for specific permissions before enabling private apps. Select each box and select "Enable Private App Development".
